Part 1-Session 1-Creative Spirituality Exploration

Creative Spirituality Workbook Introduction

This video introduces the entirety of the Creative Spirituality Workbook. This will be an overview to let you know what you can expect from the whole program. The purpose of the workbook is to bring you to the reality of a spirituality designed by the Creator of the universe, to help you establish a spiritual habits framework, and to help you launch out into waters that will enable you to serve God and His creation, no matter where you are currently in your spiritual journey.

This video is to be used after completing the Creative Journeys Workbook where you have previously learned about Discovering Your Creativity, Developing Your Habits, and Deploying Your Mission. This workbook will utilize the 3D Method in conjunction with enhancing your spiritual life. Each of the three areas will have three sessions within each, building on each area that you have previously studied.

You will delve into a Creative Spiritual Exploration where you will find out about different types of spirituality and how they were cultivated and established. You will be offered a choice at the end of this section to follow Jesus Christ, the only path that we can profess and guide you into a relationship.

The second section encourages you to establish spiritual habits or disciplines that will prepare you to have a vibrant and ongoing relationship with your Savior.

The last portion will help you find His plan for your life based on Creativity, Habits, and His Mission for which you were born.  I know you will enjoy this everlasting journey that will take you places you never could possibly imagine.

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,

Nor have entered into the heart of man

The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.

(1 Corinthians 2:9)

Session One: Suspension of Disbelief

This session opens with an explanation of Creative Spirituality. Jeremiah 31: 33 says” I will put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” Because our Creator placed within us a gyroscope-like spirit that draws us almost magnetically to Him, we all have a spiritual desire. Each person has to decide for him or herself if we are going to seek Him or their own way. This has to be decided before we arrive at the pearly gates. Many will come to a crisis or a “foxhole” experience that will compel them to call on God for help. Still, others decide to follow a God of their own making. The choice is yours.

History continues to lead us into a worldly, intellectual, philosophical mindset that distracts us away from a God that is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. Aristotle, in approximately 360 B.C. developed the Scientific Method which compelled others to find meaning and answers in materialism and energy. We began to think we knew more than God and we constructed and followed many religions that are a mere counterfeit to the Living God. A suspension of disbelief was a term that suggests that we exchange what we know to be true for what is before us in order to adhere to what is presented. We do this continually and habitually in our culture.
