Mission Session 1-Mission Learning

The Mission Workbook

Introduction

This workbook is a condensed version of the Creative Lifestyle Workbook. Although we encourage everyone to go through the entire workbook, we offer this for someone that solely wants to develop or find their mission. The three sections in the Creative Lifestyle Workbook build upon each other.

This is the foundational program of The Roses Coaching. It has as its focus, as all the programs that we present, the 3D Method of Coaching. This method helps you Discover your personal creativity, you will learn to Develop habits that reinforce your creativity, and we help you Deploy your purpose or mission in your life. This program will help orchestrate your life no matter if you are a young adult or a retiree. Your career can finally be cultivated as you develop new skills to enhance your life and the lives of others.

In the first of the three sections, you will discover why creativity is unique to you and so valuable for you to activate. The second portion deals with developing habits that will help you gain control of areas that need support. Many times, you find that you know, or people tell you to start a habit. We help you learn how to develop this skill. The last section will help you unleash that desire or dream that you have not been able to shake, that emerged from learning about a new creative ability, or that your newly formed habits have allowed you to realize that you, too can do this.

We will go over The Roses Coaching Agreement and have you sign it at the bottom. Keep in mind that the Worksheets at the end of each session are there to help you solidify what you learned, and these are very important for you to complete.

Mission Building

It’s your purpose or mission that gives your life meaning. It is that that drives you and motivates you to carry on. Your mission is usually a composite of your life experiences, blended with your capabilities, and peppered with desire. This session will confirm or inform you of your mission in life.

Mission Building-The 6 Session Program

Session 1-Mission Learning-This first session we discuss the importance of having a mission, the components of mission, and how you know that you are on mission. A mission will always have definitive results. You will find out what those are in this session.

Session 2-Mission and The Hero’s Journey-You are writing your life story. All great stories have features that make the story great. The hero’s journey is a story pattern that has been used throughout history that makes for a truly great story. You will learn these elements and be able to put your story into these story elements.

Session 3-The Story and Project Skills – A story is a purposeful account of a character. In this instance the character is you. As you think and write about the details of your experiences you will see them as not as an end result, but a means to an end. They are all a part of your story. You can overcome the hurdles, they are just a part of your story. Learn from them!

Session 4-Planning and the Elements-You will be drawing on what you have learned in the previous two sections to work through this session. Your mission is your project that you are managing. You will see how creativity and habits are vital to the successful working out of your mission.

Session 5-Execution-You came face-to-face with the fundamental element of finding and executing your mission, choice. You can choose which way to go with all this information you have learned.

Session 6-Review Work-Fulfilling your mission is not for the faint of heart. It requires all the effort that you have ever expended, and then some more. You are accountable and responsible for the actions from here on out. You will need to harness character and personal integrity to accomplish your mission. It will be worth every single bit of energy you put forth and will provide enjoyment along the ride!

Mission Session 1: Mission Learning

A mission is an intentional task or calling in which you are fully engaged. It provides a zeal or modus operandi for life, as long as the ingredient of serving others is applied in the motivation. There are always elements, practices, and procedures that must be supplied to fulfill any mission.  procedures will be centered around your specific mission. The results will always be definitive and measurable.  The metrics need to be established in advance so that you will know if your target is in range.
