Creative Lifestyle Workbook
This is the foundational program of The Roses Coaching. It has as its focus, as all the programs that we present, the 3D Method of Coaching. This method helps you Discover your personal creativity, you will learn to Develop habits that reinforce your creativity, and we help you Deploy your purpose or mission in your life. This program will help orchestrate your life no matter if you are a young adult or a retiree. Your career can finally be cultivated as you develop new skills to enhance your life and the lives of others.
In the first of the three sections, you will discover why creativity is unique to you and so valuable for you to activate. The second portion deals with developing habits that will help you gain control of areas that need support. Many times, you find that you know, or people tell you to start a habit. We help you learn how to develop this skill. The last section will help you unleash that desire or dream that you have not been able to shake, that emerged from learning about a new creative ability, or that your newly formed habits have allowed you to realize that you, too can do this.
We will go over The Roses Coaching Agreement and have you sign it at the bottom. Keep in mind that the Worksheets at the end of each session are there to help you solidify what you learned and these are very important for you to complete.
Creativity Training-The Six Session Program
Session 1-Create Products and Activities- In this session we learn about creativity, the creative person, creative vehicles as well as the nature of flow and how it is an integral part of creativity.
Session 2 – Create Ideas – Ideas are formed in the mind where patterns are formed. We can actually change the landscape of the way our brain forms by repeating good ideas and thoughts and stopping access to the old. We need our brain active and fruitful by keeping our minds full and stimulated with good and positive thoughts while shielding them from the negative. Utilizing lateral thinking helps with this.
Session 3 – Create Attitudes – In order to move forward and create positive outcomes in life it is necessary to hold on to a positive frame of mind. This is made possible by activating certain abilities. You will learn the necessity to overcome resistance by handling trauma and negative thoughts that are counterproductive to moving forward.
Session 4 – Create Perception – One of the basic components of creativity is play. Our creativity has been conditioned out of us so that we become manageable in the early years. Then later on we are required to have the creative ability in our careers. It is important to learn these skills to be useful and productive in this world.
Session 5 – Create Sensory Experiences – The structure of our lives leaves us empty and our lives unfulfilling. We can get more out of our lives by utilizing our five senses. If we enjoy the tastes of food more, bask in the wondrous beauty of our world; listen to music for the pure pleasure of the voices, instruments, and harmony, or listen to the sounds of the night; smell the foods cooking and the fragrance of flowers and enjoy how you have a deeper enjoyment of each. We seldom appreciate that our magnificent bodies breathe about 20,000 breaths a day and without our involvement, this keeps us alive. If we allow ourselves to move to the music, actually jump for joy, touch the scales of a frog, or feel the softness of a baby’s hair we are guaranteed to enjoy our life more, today. Why not do this every day?
Session 6 – Review and Revise- A vital part of enlisting a newly found creativity in your life takes grit. Find your interest and passion and actively pursue it with perseverance. (In the next section we will talk about developing habits.)
